Accessibility is sometimes treated as a legal box to tick, but it is really an opportunity. Designing for everyone means a larger reach, fewer barriers, and a better experience for every visitor. Captions, readable contrast, and keyboard navigation are not extras; they are what make a site truly usable.
Good for everyone
Many accessibility improvements help far more people than the group they are designed for. Clear contrast helps anyone reading on a bright phone. Captions help people watching without sound. Simple, well-structured pages are easier for everyone to scan. When you remove walls, everybody benefits.
Build it in from the start
Retrofitting accessibility is expensive and frustrating, but building it in from the beginning costs little. Choose templates and components that are already accessible, label your forms properly, and test with a keyboard. Treat it as part of quality, and you will serve more customers while doing the right thing.
