A visitor can be interested, convinced, and ready to act, and still leave if they do not know what to do next. Websites lose customers every day not because the message was wrong, but because the next step was hidden. The most important sentence on many pages is simply the one that tells the visitor where to click.
One button, one action
Give each page a single primary action and make it visually obvious. Use clear words on the button, not vague phrases like submit or click here. Say buy now, book a call, or get the guide. When the label describes the outcome, the visitor knows exactly what they are getting.
Clear a path, remove the mystery
Reduce the choices around your main action. Hide or remove competing links that pull attention elsewhere. The easier the path, the more people will follow it. Clarity is not a decoration; it is conversion. When the next step is obvious, the visitor does the work of moving themselves forward.
