Start With the Customer’s Problem

Too many websites begin with a proud announcement: we are a leading provider, we are excited to offer, we are pleased to introduce. That is a story about you, and the visitor did not come to hear it. They came because they have a problem. Start there, with what hurts, and the rest of the page follows naturally.

Name the pain first

Open with the situation the customer already recognizes. Describe the frustration in their own words, and they will instantly feel that you understand them. That recognition is what earns their attention. Only after you have done that should you introduce your solution.

Show the fix, then the proof

Once the problem is clear, present your answer simply and confidently. Explain what you do, how it helps, and why it works, ideally with evidence or a concrete example. The structure, problem first and solution second, matches the way customers actually think and buy.
